Next week we are scheduled to implement a new telephone system, so if you have any difficulty getting through, please be persistent. The vendor assures us everything will go smoothly, but...

We are changing the walk-in policy at our office location here in Davis. We are all out "in the field" more and more, so we will receive visitors by appointment only.

Who Do You Know?

Navion is currently offering advisors in the broker-dealer environment a path to true independence.   If you or someone you know would benefit from being part of a team of fiduciary advisors, let us know!

Financial Planning  - Beyond Investments

Despite the attempts of the big financial firms to co-opt the term, financial planning is so much more than buying an investment or insurance policy.  Good financial planning is 20% numbers, and 80% people.  Done properly, it addresses your key goals and values, incorporating them into a plan to help you truly make the most of your life.  While investments and insurance are certainly PART OF a complete financial plan, they are not the reason for the plan.

Genuine financial planning incorporates the financial planning process - define the goals, gather the information, analyze the data, formulate, implement, and monitor the plan.  You address the issues that will allow you to live the life you want to live.  For many, that will include ensuring their risks are properly managed, that their retirement is on track, and that they have planned for the important life events.  These could include having an updated estate plan, making good decisions regarding when to take Social Security, funding their children’s education, and even the cost of weddings.  For others, debt management and/or buying a home could be a priority.

Navion Financial Advisors was formed in response to the growing public awareness that while they needed to coordinate all their financial affairs, they also want choice and flexibility.  Many people are comfortable handling their own affairs most of the time, and wish to just validate their decisions on an occasional basis.  Others want ongoing assistance.  Most want to know what it is they are paying for, and how much.  By offering hourly, as needed financial planning separate from investment management, Navion Financial Advisors can provide the precise level of service you desire.  From a one hour consultation for a specific question, to a comprehensive financial plan, to ongoing plan monitoring and portfolio management, you decide what will best fit your wants and needs.  Advice is provided by our staff of Certified Financial Planner™ professionals - no faux planners here.  Refer to the diagram below for a chart of topics that might be addressed.  Then, to find out how we can help you make the most of YOUR life, contact us to schedule your complimentary, no obligation consultation.  We look forward to working with you.
